Prayer For The Deceased

Lord Jesus Christ, You experienced death with all its darkness and fear, and yet Your love for us brought You safely through it to Your glorious Resurrection. I know that it is Your will to bring all those who die in Your grace safely to the shores of Your Eternal Kingdom.
Lord, I pray for those I love who have embarked upon this journey, that Your mercy will fill their sails and bring them swiftly to Your embrace. May they await me there where there is no sorrow and no parting. Together with Mary and all Your saints and angels, we will spend eternity thanking you for Your countless gifts to us.
Eternal rest grant unto them, 0 Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of alI the faithIuI departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
